Hi everyone, this is Tom. This post has come to fast. As you know she has been suffering with cancer and these last few weeks have been tough. Marsha passed yesterday at 2:50 pm in our condo with me by her side. So she is no longer in pain, thank god she went fast and with the hospice personnel/drugs here she didn't suffer. As per Marsha's wishs she will be cermated (which will happen mon or tues) and I'm to keep her ashes. If you wish to send a card or flowers you can send them to our condo and I will build a shrine for all who to come by and pay there respects.
Thank you all for being part of her life, one of her biggest fears was to die alone and you guys have helped her understand that she was loved and would be missed.

I found Marsha's site because my mom's cea has gone from 3.5 to 16 in 3 months. Reading through this blog has been wonderful. My mom had inital colon cancer in 1984, my dad died of a heart attack 9 months later, and five year later my mom had a lung removed due to cancer. She's been doing fine for the 22yrs. In March of 2010 they found a primary site cancer in her colon (again!), she had surgurgy to remove it and did Xeloda chemo meds. Now her cea is the highest its ever and she is scared what they find will on her pet scan in 3 days. There's something aout this blog that truely speaks to me. Maybe it Marsha's red hair in the picture (I'm a redhead)or the fact the she was with guy named Tom (that's my husbands name). I'm just happy I found it and can relate to so much of it. Thanks Marsha for so bravely writing it and thanks Tom for loving her.
